My name is Alexander Perry, and I was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. I’ve been tattooing since 2014. That’s still the day job, the thing in the photo, and honestly the thing I’ll probably always do.

Somewhere around 2021 I fell hard into collecting cards. Magic, Pokémon, all of it. But the part that really got me wasn’t the cards. It was the hunt. Estate sales, flea markets, dusty shops, the weird corners of the internet. I’d go out looking for one card and come home with a lamp, or a vase, or some little object I had no business buying and couldn’t put back down.

VARROS started as an excuse. A reason to keep dragging home the cool, strange, well-made stuff I kept tripping over. Eventually I ran out of shelves, so now I clean it up, photograph it, and pass it on to people who’ll like it as much as I did finding it.

Most of what’s here is something I pulled out of the wild and liked enough to keep for a while. Pottery, art, antiques, the odd bit of decor, whatever caught my eye. A lot of it I only have one of, so when it’s gone, it’s gone. If you want to know where something came from, just ask. I usually remember the story.
